Urea

N: 46.0%

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: A concentrated nitrogen fertiliser. Mainly used for pre-plant application in grain crops, and for side or top-dressing pasture and forage crops, grain, cotton, vegetables and sugarcane. Also used in tree and vine crops. If surface-applied without incorporation, best results are achieved if applied before rain or irrigating. Urea can also be applied in irrigation water, and as a foliar spray. This product is not recommended for repeated foliar application on annual or perennial horticultural crops.

This product may be used in stockfeed supplements for ruminants. Cattle should be introduced to urea slowly, feeding 15 g/day initially, and increasing it by this amount weekly, until a rate of 60 g/day is reached. Urea is poisonous if fed in excessive quantities, or too quickly. Plentiful roughage should be available. Do not feed urea to starving stock.
